Sierra High School and Heritage Valley IS Orientation/Back To School Night

Please mark your calendars. Sierra will be having an orientation / Back to School Night for all students. Light refreshments will be provided.

SHS Students will receive their schedules and welcome packet at the entrance to the campus. Each family will begin the event in their 1st period classroom. There will be a short introductory video welcoming the families for 5 minutes followed by 10 minutes with each teacher (Counselor will join Mr. Gonzalez). Groups will rotate to each teacher clockwise from 1st period. There will be an announcement for when to rotate. Late arrivals will be sent to the student’s 1st period teacher regardless of what time they arrive. Teachers will present specific information regarding their educational WHY, how to reach the teacher, grading, class expectations, as well as their assigned schoolwide Warrior Way policies.

HVIS Students will join their teachers for their orientation, contract signing, first assignments, and ensuring all devices and accounts are ready for a smooth start.

This event is a great way for families to get to know the heart of Sierra and HVIS and what to expect for a successful year!
