fires happy Wednesday April 19th we have just 35 days left of school until summer which means 34 days of school until graduation 28 is a school until finals week and just 27 days left of school for all assignments to be turned in there's our calendar for the rest of the quarter you'll notice that I have added in read that on Friday May 26th if you are taking an extra cyber high class you have to be finished by the end of the day on Friday with all of your test. cuz we need a whole week to process them and get them on your transcripts this is critical for any Juniors who are needing to take an extra cyber high class in order to go back to the high school in the fall and it is critical for any seniors that needed in order to graduate so please be aware of this timeline if you have cyber High classes get online see how many more final exams you have to go and plan accordingly I have a calendar print out in the office if you need it so you can Mark what days you need to take those tests by I can help you if you're stuck on planning that do you need to create a timeline and priorities list so I can get this done on time this is disability awareness week I couldn't decide between these two cups because they're both great so the number one don't judge a disability by its visibility off in time prejudging disability when they see someone with something happening with their body not recognizing the fact that their brain and their other abilities far achieved and compensate and do even better than sometimes physical disabilities and I also want you to know that disabilities do not need to be fixed they need to be accepted for who they are Fillmore High School prom is on Saturday if you are a sophomore or Junior you can go as someone from Fillmore High School's guess Sierra High School seniors and get a guest pass and do not need to have a date as their sponsor to be at the dance The Forum is at the Fillmore high school students torso coordinate getting that and I need to sign it on Friday or sooner and absolutely no. raps to go to the prom come talk to me if you're going to get your Deezer app stop in time again if you're taking a class independently you are responsible for doing it independently and messaging mrs. Henry or mrs. Jackie to take your test we will pull you out of class and Proctor your test and if you don't pass it the first time you will get a study guide that you can go look up here miss answers and then take the test again but you have to do that we are not babysitting in monitoring that it is independent cyber high class all right this is different than mr. Travis is costumes for Travis will work with you and remind you but all the other classes we will not be reminding you it is up to you to do all students with an apple be getting pulled at different times from electives lunch after school when a possible to get caught up so be on top of it and don't be disappointed if you get pulled when you don't want to be you need to get your grades up so get those grades up so you can avoid us and pulling you out of money when you're enjoying yourself as a reminder state taxes coming next week I want to reiterate please help us show how valuable and helpful it is to have a place like Siri do you like how many Ciara do you wish that you had an opportunity to get this type of experience and education sooner please help us show the community and the that Sierra has what it takes to help students we want to be a model school for other teachers and other schools we want to let the community know that the way that lomeli teaches math the way that Chavez teaches writing and the way that Carrie and she just had science works for students and more teachers should be following their methods because we see it we noticed you guys are working really hard and you're doing a great job and we want that for you sooner you shouldn't have to wait until you're 16 years or older to support add a reminder on Thursday all Juniors need to bring their laptops and charger so bring both to school on Thursday you'll use it all the Thursday then leave it with us on Thursday afternoon so we can check it over and on Friday you'll get your computer back but then you will leave it again at the end of the day on Friday because we want to make sure that on Monday nobody accidentally forgets their laptop on Monday morning and next week all students will be assigned a classroom. They'll be in for the week senior sophomores will have assignments to do in those classes absences will continue to affect your grades all Juniors have two language arts test 2 math test and one science test to take a couple of seniors have a science test to take a let you know who you are and as a reminder make if you're late and don't get to take your test on time but you will be staying after school to take your test if you miss school you will be staying after school to take her test at these are a requirement all students must take it and you don't have very much time so we need to get them done as soon as possible graduation speakers are needed if you write a draft of your speech please submit it by Monday afternoon we're going to hold some try out whole trout sometime during State Testing so that way we can see who's going to be our graduation speaker Disneyland is June 5th with Lamar High School we are almost there we almost have enough sponsors that I do have to pay the check on Friday so if you are willing to donate $30 to cover your ticket you don't have to but if you can it would be greatly greatly appreciate and the donations are needed on Friday anything helps so if you can do more than 30 if you could be less than 30 will take it but approximately $30 per student would cover everybody the rest of the way dress code policy all right the sweatpants have arrived so now I'm really going to hold you accountable soon instead of telling me you have nothing else to wear so no extremely oversized pants if you do you'll be given an option to call home for a change of clothes or you're going to get all is all there is to it please take note of that notice wet extremely oversized pants look like and stop wearing them all right have a great Wednesday there just six more of them left
