happy Friday September 16th there are just two weeks 14 days left until the end of the quarter that includes the weekend make sure you're getting every assignment turned in check your grades today see what you're missing go talk to your teachers after next Friday it will be very hard to catch up and make up for lost time so this next five days of school starting on Monday are very important for every single BPA and every single time that you're missing congratulations ProMaster lomeli Isaac Murphy Garza for showing how to be a warrior if you need to see the counselor to be pulled out of class to see the council you must complete all my request form that is on our home page for the school and wait until you are called out of class or just for a quick question like how many credits do I need to graduate they're not to help you get out of class in order to see the counselor dad is going to be missed those are often overlooked conversation with these request forms and this is Henry and misses Jackie's so that we know that there is a request and then Mrs Henry make sure that my next alarm but it is times we might have an emergency and filling out that request form is impossible if you have that kind of an emergency you need to tell your teacher I need to see the counselor I have an emergency then the teacher is going to find a way to ask you for a general reason why prices whatever you need to share with them and then the teachers make sure that the office knows you're coming so that you can get our attention please do not walk or throw your teacher in the case of a real emergency the office is not a social hangout and we really need to start respecting the people who are working in the office and also for the students who are here for real emergencies or need becoming a little bit hectic in the office when we have students just popping in to say hello here's our events coming up today is Constitution Bingo during lunch Ventura College will be your dream. Two and Mr Chavez's class next week is voter registration week and I want to make sure that every single student here on campus is pre-register to vote by Friday on Thursday of next week at the homecoming parade and White Night downtown I hope all of you can make today kicked off National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th so we're going to start with our first Rachel hispanic-american we're Hispanic month we are honoring yoga studio She was recently awarded the 2022 stem award honoree she's a Latina Military and Commercial airline pilot with over 40 years in the Navy as the first Latina to complete US Air Force undergraduate pilot training and graduate in the top 5% of her class active duty becoming the first American Airlines congratulations to Olga Decker Studio Persian for a costume Bingo this today at lunch we have the Bill of Rights the Bill of Rights are the first 10 amendments of the Constitution for today's game playing bingo as table groups the whole table win the prize be a team help each other figure out the answers to the question is big mouth and it is also still Suicide Prevention month if you need help starting a conversation with somebody about mental health trilene with these questions to make sure that you are actively listening to your phone family member in need you can say I've been worried about you can we talk about what you were experiencing if not who are you comfortable talking to you or you can say I am someone who cares and wants to listen what do you want me to know about how you are feeling start the conversation with someone you see is hurting they have a great Friday and a great weekend
