good morning Warriors happy Friday February 10th there are just 18 school days left in the quarter let's take a moment to get Centered for the moment see if you can breathe in rhythm with this traffic as you focus on your breathing make sure you're noticing how your body is feeling if it feels tense take a moment to do this as you breathe out let out the things that are stressing you and as you breathe and think of the things that lift you up and make you feel positive without the stress and breathe in the positives taking long until she'll deep breaths like this resets your brain it gets the chemical is going in the right direction to help you so throughout the day if you're feeling yourself 10 sub or and you can explain why take a moment to do the same activity at any time all right yesterday was a halfway days to our quarter all parents received the progress their child I just text it to to them to parentsquare so if your parents do not know how you're doing and they did not get the text message we need to know so that we can get them get their information updated in our system it will be reaching out to every family that we did not hear from that confirm that they received the progress reports and we will make sure that they have them today is Grant dress like a grandparent and we will be playing a game like you became kind of like pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey today at lunch it is the three day weekend so we can have a great time and return on actual and stay so far are palentine's day there are some activities that will be planning it is a short week and on Friday the army recruiters will be back on campus at lunch does field trip forms are coming up fast they're doing the 24th and we will have a Saturday school on 25th for those of you that need to make up some BPA get some assignments in and get those grades up the big field trip to Ventura College is on the 28th remember first-come-first-serve if you have not turned in your field trips it's getting full we might be out of space so make sure you get them in a stew as possible you've probably noticed a change in our system we need to make sure that every student that comes to the office has their teachers permission so that the teacher knows where you are going we have a lot of students have been wandering into the office and taking up the of the office staff or Miss Jackie and filling our office with students just come in for a quick minute without permission moving forward you cannot come into the office without a pass all teachers have passes that's a visit to the counselor it works for the office for right now so you can't come in without that past if it's an emergency and your teachers like oh my gosh the student is you know throwing up and they need to run to the office that's different style radio the campus supervisor  you to the office but all other things that are not a dress he must have a past you cannot go to the bathroom and then wandered to the office and you cannot leave your classroom without permission so if we find out that you were leaving your classroom and just wandering around you will have a consequence reminder we have no Miss Jackie today she has the day off if you need anything you could ask Miss Henry but if it can wait until Tuesday please use the council request form on the school web page Miss Jackie will get those even while she's at home on this this weekend so she'll notice them but if it's something critical you cannot see Mrs Henry today I am here I am sick I have my mask on but if you need me please to reach out we have been notified by the school district that we are no longer getting water bottles as frequently as they all water fountains are back in operational they aren't great but they do work so if you want a water bottle you need to get it in the morning before school you got to get here by that 825 time and this was so we'll have some small set of water bottles her card for you to have for the day Waters will only be available before school and if there are some leftover maybe at lunch but save your bottles too many are going unfinished unclaimed write your name on them make it some way that you know that that is your water bottle and take it with you all day long if you don't get your water bill in early for schools and you are using the water fountains there's no other waters for you you can't come to the office and ask for a water bottle ASP will start selling cold ones at lunch and might take them a few days to get that started and situated because they do need to the order speaking back to the office that's what the ticket looks like it's a ticket to talk about it and that means you have a teacher's permission to go see the counselor we are locking that back door to help reduce kids and have to remind them that they need to I want to talk for a minute about restorative practices we want to keep our school culture are welcome safe and call me setting we work hard to make sure that every student feels confident and comfortable here so if there's a servants or something that happens between students or between students and teachers or classrooms expect to discuss it and have an opportunity to restore that relationship back to a common working situation we are not going to let things Fester it might take a few days but we will work on getting because you are worth the time our school culture is worth the time we don't give up on making things right we're not going to rush things aside and act like they never happened we need to find a way to talk about it get our feelings out and get our heads face back in the right place so we will make sure that every opportunity we were store so that our school can continue to be the great and successful place that it is remind about that February 28th field trip forms due February 24th no exceptions there's a great event coming up in March so dry the fourth-quarter there is the Ventura College Pirate is it is a fun event you get lots of stuff while you're there it is on March 30th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be there at the same time as Buena High School Santa Paula high school and of course us we will be there it's a one-day event designed to help students an introduction to the classes to prepare for the fall schedule and assist with any financial aids and registering for classes excetera excetera it's a lot of fun it is designated for students who have already applied for Ventura College so if you have not done that yet you want to make sure you have the opportunity to go on this crate and fun-filled trip they are providing Transportation suit it's a lot of fun so if you're interested in this field trip please apply for Ventura College we can help you get through that we also have great event coming up that mr. Gonzalez and mrs. Jackie brought to attention it is the Latino college day at UCSB it is on a Saturday it'll be a Saturday field trip from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at UCSB in April so there's a registration in the last day is March 3rd for more information contact mr. Gonzalez or mrs. Jackie as a reminder of bathrooms are closed immediately after lunch for 30 minutes every day unless you have a doctor's note that lets you use the bathroom in the office at that time all right here's our quote productivity is turn accident it is always a result of a commitment to Excellence intelligent planning and focused effort by Paul Meyer all right have an excellent Friday 3 Day weekend get it done
