remind me September 19th there are just 14 days left in the quarter here's a calendar for the next 2 weeks you'll notice that today marks the beginning of voter registration week we will be making sure that every single student here at Sierra is register to vote for their 18th birthday Tuesday to be during Wednesday's sports day Thursday's College day and that night is blue and white night downtown in our on Central on Friday at school spirit day and during spring we we make sure that every single is registered to vote next weekend. Is a reminder if you need to see the council you must complete the online request form and wait until you get called out of class teams. questions that get an answer within teams chat not all request to the council request form if you have an emergency and you have an emergency and you need to see the counselor and you tell just disappearing while you're at the bathroom is not an appropriate way to get support please do not walk into the office with having made an official request the office is not a social hangout and we need to respect people in the office you are there for emergencies are named continuing with national Hispanic Heritage Month are honoring today is Victoria Alonso the 2022 Vision award honoree she is and at the age of 19 to move the United States that has worked her way up to this speaking at the lower levels and making her way up to finally be Timber continues to be suicide for I want to make sure you are aware that if you have a friend who is expressing hopelessness or desire to end their life friend or family member consigns the thoughts of suicide learn some of the warning signs friends sometimes let friends know they're thinking about suicide or dying other times changed from a show that someone is struggling listen with empathy and support them by our breakup might not seem like a big deal but for a young person sympathizer listen minimize what your child her friend is going to can increase his or her sense of helplessness and don't keep it a secret if your friend is considering suicide don't tell him or her you can help that you need some other people like a trust either of you have a thesis around 14 days left in the quarter me that this week you need to check all of your assignments and make a plan for making up for any lost or missing work you need to talk to your teachers and touch base with them and you need to be coming in before EPA and next weekend I want to focus on doing well on your finals so please take time today to check your assignment and come up with a plan I need help coming up with a plan or you're feeling overwhelmed with the amount of work to do teachers to prioritize and make sure that you know what is the priority should come first so that you can get bang for your back on your point make an exceptional week at Lots done
