good morning Warriors happy Monday March 27th 2023 all right here's a look ahead we do have progress reports going home this week we also have you seen pirate field a pirate day field trip for all incoming freshman at Ventura College and after that on Saturday or spring break for one week will begin soon as the week for last week we are double dipping lunch passes so from Mr Thomas's class Irma Lopez for working diligently and participation outside of class time is to carry in Dallas for doing an outstanding job in BIO and being a true warrior that helps others from Miss Jackie Bernard I tan for getting an A in math afternoon time makes anything possible from O'Malley Bernardo Gaitan for being on top of his math class keep it going and from Miss Beatrice also going out of town for working hard and all classes good job Bernardo excellent work add a reminder to quarters move fast you are already 20% done with quarter for keep your grades above a 60% and you will get Awards and prizes help your friend stay focused in class and when you're doing homework because you don't want them left out grape activities coming up in field trips do you want them as a reminder laptops are required and buried a failure to bring a laptop to school is failure to do your homework we don't have much homework and this is considered your homework it will impact your grades lots of Isis need to be reported replaced ASAP so come before school or after school and say my device is lost and we can help you find try and locate it with our location services but you can use so you don't get Dean points every day I called the day and I'm Healed person can find a fence and pretty much anything someone does a healed person understands that the actions of others have nothing to do with them each day you get to decide which one you will be talk a little bit about our Paws posters around campus you see our Paz posters if you're ever feeling trigger whether it's emotional upset crying sad angered whatever the emotion pause and take a look at those posters and read through the steps that our list. start with P pay attention to your body when strong emotions might be starting a person's body will give you warnings before an Albers begins so that your mind has time to change those little girls are signs that something is Building inside of you it could be I'm something that happened at home before you got to school and now little things are getting under your skin some of those sent science might be having a hard time concentrating could be clenching your jaw pressure behind your eyes or neck suddenly hot intense eye contact change in breathing feeling all the little tiny things irritating you like sounds in the classroom look somebody is giving you the temperature all the things I find be irritating you those are signs that your body is starting to feel true and that is time to self-regulate don't wait self regulating that moment one of the strategies is to ask for a break you can message her teacher and teams or staying in person that you don't feel well and you need fresh air or the nurse mental health is health or you could actually getting sick all of those symptoms are also signs of illness and mental health have Alyssa mental health have the same symptoms Oprah self-regulate with an appropriate ask for coordinated break don't just walk out of the classroom you do have to get your break coordinated that's it you are responsible for actions no matter how you're feeling if your feelings were hurt or not it doesn't matter you still have consequences to your actions so if you're not actively monitoring if anyone is not actively moderate monitoring those signs and symptoms and they're not self-regulating and spine ways to crack those feelings and those people lose their temper have a frustrated tone is just respectful acts out then that person is responsible for reflecting in repairing their relationship is nobody else's fault but your own that you triggered yourself there are natural consequences like silver friendship the loss of a relationship between a teacher and a student impacting your relationship if you make poor decisions while you're triggered in all moments think about how your tone of voice and the word you say impact the people in the room not just yourself. Don't think I don't think about what you're doing to the other person you're interacting with think about. are they hearing your condescending tone are they hearing tension are you possibly triggering some emotions and them reflect on that that is also not appropriate in our school we are safe and committed to making sure that everyone feel safe here so it all times be mindful of other all right back to some good stuff rotary scholarship graduates that are going to be graduating soon free money all you got to do is do a short application in English you can help with free money between thousand dollars depending on how many of you apply the application is a breeze come see me before you there's also many college fair, call the answer we're here happening on in Sierra on April 14th 9:30 7:30 if you know something that you want to come and have a table here maybe you know a family member that's looking for employees let us know alright Warriors have
