good morning Sierra High School Warriors today is Thursday August 24th these are the announcements remember that there is just 30 days left in this quarter time is flying I can't believe this week is already almost over it's gone fast here's our calendar remember that this Saturday is the Adult School open house so if you know anybody that is 18-100 years old that is interested in taking any classes for adult getting their diploma getting their citizenship learning English Auto classes and computer classes as well and it's from 4 to 6 at the district offices our tenants yesterday was at 91% so if we have it today and tomorrow we will have a treat for everyone today schedule is nothing unusual and later this week on is Aloha day so tomorrow where your wine best if you want to earn credits faster please send Miss Jackie a chat on teams for more information on Cyber high you can find her by searching up Jacqueline Gonzalez in the team's chat and sending her address you can also use our District web page High School web page where there is a counselor request form that is another option for you both of them reach her and when she fine time she will call you out to meet with you so you know cyber high is 100% independent we will be tracking your progress you are responsible for getting the work done and then when you're at school asking us to be proctored while you take your test level three conferences have started more than three tardies excessive absences grades do your blue and or grade behavioral problems will result in a level three conference we've already had a couple and we have more scheduled so be on top of your tardies and absences and your grades and none of this conference this will happen and we will not bother your parents or Guardians another way for avoiding a conferences if you're making up the time by getting here at 7:30 a.m. every time you're absent or tardy the next day to make up that time and get your grades up if you're getting those things made out of I cross you off the list and you don't get called for a conference so make sure you're checking in with the teachers that you are late or absent for this is important for everyone to know it's been reported that this is becoming a problem Sierra students that are not enrolled in a class at 4 my school or any other school in phone or for that matter cannot be on the campus this includes outside of the fences if you need to talk to someone or get something you at Fillmore High School you must have supervision from the Sierra .  permission from the Fillmore High School administrators if you are picking up a sibling at the middle school or Elementary you must wait outside the campus like all other pickups you cannot walk on campus interact with the students or teachers if it is after school for that school. are released but their release time and you want to visit a former teacher you must go through the front office get permission in sign-in just like any other visitor as of this moment you have all been fully informed of this we have been told that scitech citations for trash will be issued it's out of my hands you're on their site and they can request for you to be cited so please be mindful of this and stop going on their campuses to this couple of you that I've had to give that warning to lastly please avoid the you're not at dismissal if you're getting picked up please meet them at the street you will get out of the campus faster and safer if you're walking home or to the bus stay on the sidewalks we've had some your accidents if you are driving consider parking along the street by the JV baseball field so you don't have to the traffic or accidentally potentially run into somebody alright her coat and finish for the morning to learning to stand in somebody else's shoes to see through their eyes that's how peace begins and it is up to you to make that happen empathy is a quality of character and it can change the world said by Barack Obama I want to point that out empathy is a quality of character that can change the world and it's up to you to make it happen so be mindful of how you're thinking of others if you're finding yourself having a hard time with somebody else put yourself into their shoes and give them a little bit of Grace
